Cookies
This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no social-media tracker and no consent-management platform.
One single value is stored in your browser's local storage: a note that you have dismissed the privacy notice at the bottom of the screen, so it does not reappear on every page. It contains no personal data, never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
Third parties
Fonts are hosted on this website's own server, so your IP address is not shared with a font provider. Photographs, stylesheets and scripts are all served from the same domain. The only outbound links are to the press articles on nrk.no and dagbladet.no and to Simon's social media accounts. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Forms
The enquiry forms send what you type to a small script on this website's own server, which forwards it as an e-mail to Simon and then forgets it. That means:
- Your details are used for one thing only: answering you
- Nothing is written to a database and no account is created
- Nothing is shared with any third party, advertiser or mailing list
- If your browser cannot reach the script, it falls back to opening your own e-mail programme with the message pre-written, and you send it yourself
Simon keeps enquiry e-mails for as long as needed to answer you and to handle any order, and does not pass your details to third parties. Write to him at any time to have your correspondence deleted.
Server logs
The hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser) for security and troubleshooting. These are generated by the web server, not by this website, and are kept only for a short period.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Norwegian Personal Data Act you may ask what personal data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. One e-mail to the address above is enough.

Every photograph on this website was taken by Simon Withagen and remains his property. They may not be copied, reproduced, republished or used commercially without written permission. Licences are gladly granted, just ask.
